Tenancy Sustainment Worker

Location: Cumberland, Carlisle

Hours: 37.5 hrs

Payscale: £24,200 - £27,500 per annum

Accountable to: Tenancy Sustainment Manager

Contract: 12 month rolling contract

The post holder will have a specific remit to work with an identified cohort of service users with multiple, complex needs. Under the leadership of the Tenancy Sustainment Manager, you will assist in the provision of effective, high quality intensive housing management and support services to vulnerable individuals with little social or recovery capital. The cohort includes individuals with additional support needs including offending behaviour, domestic violence, substance misuse and mental ill health, making them vulnerable to homelessness. Supporting individuals in assessing their needs to identify opportunities to engage them creatively and actively with support to facilitate the practical skills, personal growth and development necessary to live independently.  A 12 Step Recovery program will form a key part of a holistic approach to recovery and wellbeing.

Volunteer Van Driver

Location: Barrow

Hours: 7 hrs per Week on a Saturday

Accountable to: Tenancy Sustainment Manager

We are looking for a volunteer who can help assist our community members to take members to the Saturday hub in Lancaster. If you like variety and want to meet new people, this could be the role for you! Our community relies on our volunteers to keep them running successfully. But one thing that never changes is that we need volunteers to help us to spread the power of kindness.

Duties include:

  • Saturday – Transporting residents to our hub in Lancaster and collection, returning to the hub in Morecambe.

    An opportunity to be part of The Well Communities CIC and the knowledge that you are making a positive difference to people’s lives.

Requirements:

·         A clean driving licence and able to drive a 15-seater minibus.

·         Contribute to maintaining safe systems of work and a safe environment.
