Following an independent, extensive and thorough investigation which concluded that disciplinary action should be taken against our Chief Executive David Higham, the board of The Well Communities has accepted his resignation with immediate effect.

Respected local GP, Dr Andy Knox MBE was appointed as Chair of the Board of Directors earlier this year. We have established new leadership arrangements and can confirm that all of our current services are continuing to operate as normal. We will continue providing our local community with the care and support they deserve.

The new leadership team is focused on reviewing all services and are planning an extensive programme of investment in training, buildings and resources as well as new systems and processes. We are optimistic about our future plans and developments and remain committed to those we support, our staff, communities and funders.
